Yesterday, I watched in wonder as I observed a trans-racially
adopted child, as she observed a non-adoptive family of her same race. It reminded of Tara Vanderwooude’s
article: Adoption What I Think & What I know.
Broken into two sections; What I Think about Adoption and What I know is True about Adoption, this is a great read to share with your
adopted tweens and teens, and may give some perspective into what our children thinking
about adoption- even if they don’t express it with us.
